  1. How are you going now? I had VGS with large hiatal hernia repair on 6th Dec. The last 2 days have been better but basically I have pain when swallowing (in my chest) then spasms under my right rib cage. I am just sticking to fluid/smoothy consistency to get Fluid in / not enough really. Yesterday I had a small amount of Protein shake as a sorbet (blitzed with Water and ice) - that went down well. I am still waking with reflux pain. Walking certainly makes it better and I am looking forward to the next stage where I can tolerate soft food. Even something warm would be good but ice feels better at the moment. I am also sleeping a fair bit. It sounds gloomy but overall I feel pretty good - just want to fast forward the next month Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
