  2. So I’m nearly a year post op, I’m 55 years old still having my period. I started having excruciating pain the evening of June 10 on my left pelvic side. At 3 AM Monday morning my husband and I decided that this pain wasn’t going away and we went to ER where they discovered a large cyst on my right ovary. I have had no other pain before that time now my period had stopped for 2 1/2 months but I thought that was because I was starting to go into menopause but no pain still. I had the sleeve and in these last 11 months I have lost over 110 pounds. I was wondering if this was related to my weight loss in my body putting the estrogen “somewhere” like on my ovaries so that my ovaries could use it ?
