I was just informed this morning my EKG showed possible heart branch blockage and that I had to see a Cardiologist to give me surgery clearance. The nurse said this was nothing to be worried about, that it happens often and already rescheduled my surgery for a week later than planned I am a nervous wreck. Has anybody experienced an abnormal ekg showing heart branch blockage? Will I be cleared for surgery after one appointment with a cardiologist? What are the chances of me not being cleared for surgery? Will I have to reschedule again. I was heartbroken to hear that news this morning. I have been looking forward to this day for so long. To think I may have a heart problem that will postpone or not make me eligible for WLS is crushing. My anxiety about waiting a week for more answers is becoming too much to bare. Please help!
