    Is there minimum BMI for Vsg in Mexico? I currently have a BMI of 41 and my husband and I are going start a high Protein low carb diet along with working out. I know I will drop below 40 once we start this. I can not afford surgery till at least April but need to start my journey to living healthy.     Called insurance today, Health Partners, found out my husband's plan has excluded Baritric surgery. I am so devastated. I can not afford to pay on my own and I am not willing to travel to Mexico.
