    I've been getting in more than the 80 oz. Fluid since post op day 3 and I've been getting 75g protein too, so I have been doing exactly what I am supposed to do. When I'm hungry, I just drink more Water and deal with it. Just curious if it was normal or not. I made a typo in my original post. I meant to say "I AM able to get down my 80oz of fluids per day (including 3 Proteindrinks for 75g of protein)."

    I had my surgery on Friday (12/2). I am not able to get down my 80oz of fluids per day (including 3 Protein drinks for 75g of protein), and I am starving. I was never hungry even once during the 2 week liquid diet pre-surgery. I can't wait until this first week is over so I can try pureed food. Is this normal? I know it's stupid, but I feel like the surgery must not have worked.

    I'm sure this has been answered somewhere before, but I haven't been able to find it. Can anyone recommend a good easy to use app to keep track of Fluid intake and Protein intake? It is so inconvenient to do it on paper. Thanks.
