Mine was people asking me "So when is the baby due?" So disrespectful because they assumed I was pregnant they never asked! My youngest son is 15 years old so needless to say I was feeling really bad.

I'm 5 days post-op & the 1st two nights were worst than me having a baby! However I made it through ask for more meds to make you comfortable it gets better I'm good today and every day it gets better. Hope that helps. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

My husband & I just had the sleeve done together on November 7th & it was best experience ever I wouldn't change it for the world. This was a joint decision with my husband because we want to live a long & health life together. So I suggest you try talking to him one more time so he can understand this is 1st for you but you both will benefit in long run. Far as his family I really wouldn't care what they think you didn't marry them you married him. I didn't even tell my family I was going & they still don't know I really don't think it's their business.
