  1. Yes this is only part of it..I haven't had simple sugars..eating 6 small meals. It's has happened so often that my doc has me on acarbose and still have had a couple episodes. My blood sugar has gone as low as 32..scarey. it happens very quickly, I don't realize what is happening until it's severe. My symptoms come on very quickly.
