    Any May Sleevers?

Thank you for easing my anxiety. It went ok. Just a heads up, there might be a lot of pain if a lot of air gets trapped in there. It doesn't happen to everyone but I wish someone had told me about it ahead of time. I wish you the best of luck tomorrow! Take care Sent from my SM-S903VL using BariatricPal mobile app

    Any May Sleevers?

Yes, I have had all of my appointments with the surgeon and also the dietitian. I also had 10 group meetings, along with a lot of other appointments. I have just heard that it is different for everyone. And most discussions are about people whom have had the RNY instead of the sleeve. I just thought that some people on here might be able to give me some sort of idea ahead of time to ease my anxiety a little. Thank you for sharing your experience with me.

    Any May Sleevers?

My surgery is on May 17th. I am worried about the unknown. Am I going to be hungry all of the time after this surgery? I know with the sleeve they take the part of the stomach that drives your hunger. Does this help with not wanting to eat? I was told by someone that the first year is "Hell", then it gets easier. Is there a lot of pain after the surgery? I don't have any doubts that I want and need this surgery, it's just so many unknowns.

    Any May Sleevers?

I'm having mine done at Mayo Clinic and they require everyone to see the pulmonologist and the cardiologist before they can have the surgery. Sent from my SM-S903VL using BariatricPal mobile app
