  1. Yes it's true everyone has to go on some sort of liquid diet. I was on it for 2 weeks drinking the protein shake, then 2 days before surgery I went on a clear liquid diet. It is hard (because were fat and we love to eat) but it is all worth it in the end. Just be sure to stick with it and don't give up.

It has been a long journey but I was finally banded on March 12th 2008.:biggrin2: I was wondering how everyones pain level was after surgery. It has been 3 days for me and still I have some major pain getting in and out of bed. and even walking around (witch I do very often now) I know I was going to be in pain I am just wonderin when will it subside.

  4. Well I wanted to tell everyone, I figure I need all the support I can get. I don't care if some people are ashamed of me or embarrased about me. I know who truly loves and care about me. And to me that is what is important. (that and losing weight) But if you don't feel comfortable then don't tell everyone just tell the people you are closest to, because you will need some support from your family.
  5. No you are not alone, my husband and I have different views on how to spend our money. He is a real mans man. He loves his Jeep and his waverunner, and his snowblower and generator. But when it comes to something that I might want, he usually says well honey I was saving up for something for the jeep maybe next time, after all you did get your surgery...But together we have a beautiful baby girl who is almost 2 and I just think about her and then I remember that I do love my husband (even if he does get on my last nerve) and our daughter and am very lucky to have them both. But there are times I wish I could take an unexpected trip to Las Vegas with the girls and not have anyone to answer to. Ha Ha Ha...
