I also used Dr De LA GAza and thought the whole experience was great. for the price of 8,000 you get an awful lot. the surgery ,anesthesia, nite in hospital and 2 in hotel(which is part of hospital) Meals, meds to take home and the airfare. I went to one of Dr Avera's lectures and he seemed real nice . and his place is nice also. But he also charges alot of money and I am self pay. I will be going on thursday to monterrey to have mine done. I have checked out the hospital and its real nice. the price is 8300 dollars which I can afford plus 2 years free fills w/fluoro. If I could afford to have it done closer I would but this is all I can afford. I will let u k now how it turns out. PS. I am also a nurse.

There is a big center in ocean springs on the coast that is supposed to be good. I plan to have my surgery done in monterrey so I will be looking for a fill Md near gulfport, if anyone knows one It would reallly help. the ocean springs doc will do fills but charges $450 which is way too much for this self pay girl My doc in Monterrey does free fills for 2 years with floroscopy but u have to pay to get there. Oh yeah the Ms clinic is the obesity center for south Mississippi.

I still have 2 weeks till I get banded and I think I will have eaten the whole state of Mississippi by then:) Thanks for giving me he heads up so I can warn my husband about the mood changes.
