  8. Hey everyone! All my Jan. 11th peeps...how's it going? I'm down 26 pounds so far! Started going to the gym and walking in the park and it feels great! Just atking it slow.

  10. I take Centrum chewable Multivitamins, and gummy form of B12 and Vitamin D. I hate the chalky vitamin taste as well, but the Centrum isn't THAT bad lol. I heard about the Patches, but haven't tried them. If you purchase, let us know how it works out! @falconfan11

  14. I'm so glad somebody asked lol! And I'm glad people are honest and saying stay off the scale! I was sleeved 1/11/17 and I've lost 11 pounds so far. I feel a little discourages as I thought I'd lose more. And unfortuantely since I been home from the hospital I've been weighing myself everyday But I do need to give the scale a rest! I can't wait until my doc said it's okay to exercise...maybe the pounds will start to drop then!
  15. Hey I am newly sleeved myself (Jan 11th) and I feel your pain about the weight coming off "slow". I've lost 11 pounds since surgery and have been holding steady for about 1.5 weeks. As far as the "cheat" day I would say careful. If you were 3 months post op I would say no-harm, no-foul, but 3 weeks..... I know it gets hard because we want more, but try to be steadfast and hold on. It will get better
  16. I'm newly sleeved (Jan 11th) so I haven't gotten to the extreme weight loss yet. But I will say this, remember why you got the surgery in the first place, maybe take out old pics of yourself to remind you where you came from. Also the sleeve reset might also a good way to get on track. This sleeve life is not a destination but a journey, and I'm sure we will all fall short some time or another. But we owe ourselves this...haven't you, me and others struggled enough? Don't beat yourself up...just get back on it!!

  19. Hi all! Today marks exactly one week since I had surgery! The ups and downs: ups are I have lost 9 pounds since surgery????(some reason I thought it would be more- being ungrateful I guess), I have been cleared to eat yogurt, applesauce and jello for taste????. The downs are: it takes all day to drink my protein shakes and water and sometimes I still can't, I literally have to take breaks in between each bite and sip or a horrible gas bubble lodges in my chest????, I get lightheaded and weak sometimes(doctor said my blood pressure could have dropped too low or I might be dehydrated). That's just a few things. Another cool thing is he said I might be off my bp meds real soon!!!! My bp was in "normal" range at my week followup!!! I haven't had a normal numbers in 9 years!!!!!! This is gonna be a life altering journey????

  23. Welp group I'm finally home! Had surgery 1/11 but i had to spend an extra day on the hospital. White blood count was too plus I couldn't drink anything or keep anything down. Fortunately i took a turn for the better this morning and i was released. So far pain is manageable. Please every remember to walk walk walk after surgery to help with gas. It really helps!!!
