  2. Well here goes. I started on the journey around 2 years ago. The NHS make you jump through hoops to qualify for an op. Followed all the rules and finally went in on the 14th Oct 16. Under the knife around 08.30 and conscious sometime after 17.00 the same day. The first 24 hours was uncomfortable to say the least however that soon passed. Day two was basically a sip Water day over and over and over again. As the day wore on the sickness became less and I was able to keep it all down. Sunday and I'm up and out of bed. Managed a few trips up and down the ward. Monday and it was time to go home. Lot of instructions, lots of guidance and lots of help offered if I needed it. I'm sore and tired but nothing more than expected. This is a huge life changing procedure and it's only just started..... . Watch this space! Sent from my E2303 using the BariatricPal App
