  2. Thanks for the advice. I truly value everyone's opinions and look forward to being able to help others as well. My DR told me I could have the oatmeal and runny cream of wheat. I was able to have. Creamed soups that were strained. I would like to purée black beans up maybe in as well.   3. Hello All, Glad to see such overwhelming support and knowledgeable people to help with the journey. I have a question. I am 2 weeks post op and feeling really good. I had some strained cream of potato soup which was a real treat and went down without any issues. My question is that is it ok to start Farina, or oatmeal? Also maybe cottage cheese and a scrambled egg.
