  1. Well, I know for myself that I was told to drink at least 60-80oz. of clear liquids for 2 weeks that included sf/ice pops. Also, I had to make sure that I got in some form of protein (60 -80 grams) Keep trying your dr. They should be able to tell you what to do.
  2. My only regret is that I did not do this a long time ago. I am very happy with my decision. Some of my favorite foods do not agree with me anymore, but thats ok I am fine with that. I was banded Feb 22, 2008 and lost a total of 31lbs. Sometimes it comes off fast and some days slow. Don't regret anything that you do, especially if it comes to your health.
  3. You should not have any reflux at all, unless you had this problem before. Check with your doctor and ask many questions. Usually if there is reflux, then the band is too tight.
  4. You guys should check with your insurance company. They pay for mine, so they just might pay for yours. Good Luck and keep up the good work.
  5. Good question....I think I can feel mine, since I am 2weeks pre-op.
