  1. Does anyone have an Instagram account? Just thought I'd ask. Since I didn't see it mentioned elsewhere. [emoji846]
  2. I'm having RNY. I'll be at Magee Women's Hospital probably next month. I haven't gotten a date yet.
  3. All I did was give my psychiatrist the paperwork and he did the rest from there. I didn't have to make an appointment or anything. He faxed it to my surgeon after that.
  4. Thanks for replying. I just completed the 6 month diet. I'm just having a hard time figuring out what to ask. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  5. After you were done with all of your Lifestyle Classes and had seen the surgeon after that, what kind of questions did you ask them and what happens at that appointment, exactly? I just want to know what what to expect as far as the appointment itself goes. I see the surgeon February 13th. I feel silly for posting this on the wrong thing. It's in another forum somewhere and I can't delete it...

  9. It does. I've been told this by my insurance only it was worded differently. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  10. Thanks, I'm not sure why I wasn't told this from the start. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  11. I'm not sure where else to go to ask this because my insurance doesn't give me clear, straight answers (I have UPMC For Life Dual) they said "We don't have access to that information but your doctor does." So I called them and they told me they didn't know, call my insurance. The question is while you're on the 6 month program and say your BMI gets down to 30-35, can you still get Gastric Bypass? What do they go by? Your current weight at the end of the program or your starting weight? How do they determine that? I'm sorry if this was asked somewhere else before or if this is in the wrong forum... Feel free to correct me. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  12. I was also curious about this, so this helped. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
