I right there with you..... I'm 33, 5ft. 240# BMI 47 and scared of the surgery. But being so heavy has made simple thing difficult. I no longer ride bike, play ball, or do things with my kids. I am tired of being grumpy which is a direct result of being overweight. So, I am doing this for me and my kids....I have a better chance of living with the surgery than without! www.srkindredspirits.blogspot.com

O my goodness you just described me.... I'm still on month 4 of a liver reduction diet, but this month, all I want to do and think about doing is eating! I gave up my 4 mt dew a day and other things, and lost 5# in Nov., but right now this is an extream struggle right now. I have three kids that I homeschool, and a hubby, so I cook 3 meals plus Snacks every day..... I am in my kitchen around food constantly. www.srkindredspirits.blogspot.com

I'm just getting started, scheduled my 1st appt with surgeon today. BMI 45, and everything ready to go, I have been researching the sleeve for months, but had to wait 3 months to get into my gp.... now we found out I gotta do 6 mon. Diet for insurance. Was hoping for a January surgery date, but looks like it will be April or May. I'm so excited.... I had given up on ever being healthy and losing weight, so this seems like a miricle.... I can't wait for it to get here. Just wish I'd have started sooner! www.srkindred.com

I've been lurking around for a couple months now, so far I love this community! I'm still in the early stages of getting sleeved. I've went two two different seminars and am wondering if Sr Vincent or IUHealth in Carmel, IN is better? I have insurance through Anthem BCBS PPO..... is one faster with the process than the other?
