Hey hun I am in the same exact boat on have BCBS of NC and it's also a PPO. I was told they recently changed the stipulations for the better on our end which means you no longer have to do 12 months. I had my initial consult 9/28 was given a pre cert form for my medical doctor to fill out and a list of labs and test. I was also given my appointment for the NUT and my psych eval. I go back to the surgeons office Thursday. My appointment to see the psych is in November and I also go back to the NUT in November.

Good morning I haven't had my surgery yet. However; from what I have been reading and watching on YouTube the buyer's remorse and depression is normal. As far as feeling like something is wrong you should reach out to your doctor to be on the safe side. It's a young lady on YouTube that I watched last night you should go and watch her video and ask her some questions as well. She is very down to earth and replies. When I replied to your message I didn't do it directly do it just posted on the thread. The video I am referring to is on the thread. I am currently going through the pre- approval stage as well. I have bcbsnc my job recently added bariatric to our plan. Bcbsnc also changed the stipulations for surgery recently which benefits us. I started 9/28 I had all of my labs and test done with the exception of the psych eval. Which will be November 29; I meet with the NP on Thursday. congrats hun... where are you located? I know when I went for my consult they told me BCBSNC changed a lot of stipulations for the better. I go back next week and I had all of my labs done . My appointment with the psychologist is next month I am very excited!!
