  1. I had lap band 2008 and had DS loop in May. I am also so sorry I didn't get a different surgery sooner. I had some concerns with the phentermine too - but had no problems honestly. I guess we'll see. There are risks with everything I suppose. I am willing to try this stuff first before surgery. I just don't want it if I can help it.   2. I am 61 an had the DS loop in May. I am happy because the incision sites were small and I am so much better. Walking, breathing and just generally healthier. My biggest problem is gas. I understand it is common to have this with the DS loop. If you have the Sleeve done you may have more years left than you think. Sent from my SCH-I605 using the BariatricPal App
