  1. I am wondering if there is anyone out there who has had the MGB and tried to go raw vegan diet. I had my MGB in 10/02. I lost about 100 pounds, without complications and maintained that weight for several years (267/167). I then cut out drinking gatorade and some butterscotch candies I loved and lost another 20 pounds. I took the usual supplements, i.e. Vitamins, Iron, zinc, Vitamin D, Calcium, fish oil and was stable for years. This in May of 2016 I discovered I had breast cancer, had a lumpectomy, but declined conventional therapies of chemo., radiation, and Tamoxifin. I decided to go to a completely raw vegan diet instead. I had transitioned to this by 6/16 and was doing quite well for awhile. I have lost another 20 pounds. I had labs last week and they are a mess. Low in sodium, calcium, zinc, Vitamin A, and Protein, and am anemic. So I'm adding some supplements and adding some protein. I am wondering if there's anyone out there who has consumed a raw vegan diet after MGB and if you have any suggestions.
