  1. Hello, I am very upset, because I am 7 weeks post op from gastric bypass. I lost a lot of weight on the liquid fast pre-op diet and post op diet. For the past 2 weeks I have plateu'd . I haven't gained but I'm not losing. I'm trying to increase my exercise, but I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for how to break this and kind of re-set. I'm very worried.
  2. Hi! I'm 3 weeks post - op and am now walking regularly, but certainly wasn't walking a lot at 6 days! I say take your time and do what feels right to you.
  3. Hi, Can anyone recommend good Protein bars for weight loss ? I've heard Quest Is pretty good and only has 1 gram of sugar. Just curious if anyone has good bars to use. Thank you.
  4. Hello World, I'm feeling great. It's been 9 days since my lap band was removed and my surgeon performed a Gastric Bypass and I feel terrific. I'm really shocked at how fast the recovery has been. I am just starting the puree diet, having met with my surgeon. I'd love to hear from folks about what they like to eat post-puree. I am DETERMINED to lose the weight and I want to make sure I do the best I can to achieve that goal. Kind regards.
  5. Hi - I am 1 week post-Op - Band to Bypass - and feeling really good. I am wondering why you have to do a 3 week liquid diet pre-op? Mine was only 2 weeks, and that was hard enough!
  6. THANK YOU SO MUCH. YOU ARE GIVING ME HOPE, WHERE I HAVE HAD VERY LITTLE. The pre-op liquid is so rough and depressing i'm just trying to get through it and not think negative thoughts. You are SUCH an inspiration :)
  7. You are a complete inspiration! I'm having bypass in 10 days. People like you make me feel better --- you are amazing Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  8. Hello Everyone, I'm on day 5 of the horrid pre-op diet. My removal of my lap band-turned to gastric bypass is on 9/28 at NYU with Dr. Bradley Schwack. I'd love any support I can get. I guess my biggest fear is that I won't lose the weight, though my close friend lost 190 pounds in 18 months! He is my inspiration. I'm looking for a good resource to tell me how to eat and what to eat to keep losing weight, once I'm done with the 20 days post op diets. Kind regards.
