  1. Thank you all for your input I truly appreciate it. When I was released from the hospital I was on a full liquid diet (skipped the clear liquids) I saw my surgeon the other day he asked me how I was taking food I had told him I hadn't started foods yet. He told me to go ahead and start them so I have tried. But I agree maybe it is too soon. I go see my nutritionist today so hopefully she can give me some guidance. I will keep you all posted thanks again. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  3. Hi, I had my surgery the RNY on 8/23 I am currently 20lbs down however now that I am slowly introducing food back into my diet however NOTHING is agreeing with me. If I eat solid foods know matter what it is within minutes I am in severe pain and throwing up. Any advice as to why I may be doing this? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  4. I had the same problem and asked my surgeon if I should be worried and his exact words were if I'm not worried you don't worry. He said at 3 wks out our body is still healing and trying to figure things out. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  5. I had surgery on 8/23 and was told that I can only walk for at least a month. Once I go back they will let me know what else I'm able to do. I'm kind of at a stand still as well but just keep focusing on the prize. A healthier me. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  6. Not sure how far out you are I am 1 week today. I had that issue for a few days due to the use of Miralax that was given to me to prevent me from becoming constipated. I started taking the Miralax every other day amdnit actually helped. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  7. Try Premier Protein shakes they taste good not gritty because they are pre-made with 30g of protein in an 11oz carton. Also try the unflavored Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  8. @"Mudgy6" have you tried mixing unflavored Protein in your broth at least? If not you should try it however, make sure its warm opposed to hot otherwise the protein will clump. I ordered a case off of Amazon its called Beneprotien Instant Protein powder. Each packet is only 6 grams of protein bit its easy protein. I agree also that the Premier Protein shakes are pretty good. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
