  2. I went through that in first few weeks after surgery. My sense of smell was very heightened and alot of ordinary smells made me sick. Certain foods that I normally would eat made me sick to think about it. I felt borderline nauseous during the first week. I regretted surgery at that point. It seemed to get better a few days after I was able to start on protonix (reduces stomach acid) Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App
