  1. I was sleeved August 1st of this year. A month into it, I got a sinus infection...and it was all downhill from there. I had a post nasal drip. I could feel the mucus running down my throat all the time. I became nauseous basically 24/7. I couldn't eat or drink. I tried... I just threw up, even Water. Then I just started dry heaving. One day I would feel ok, the next horrible. I didn't go to my doctor for that reason. I'm the type of person that likes to fix things their selves. I don't like nothing people with my problems. I just thought I could handle it myself... Get myself back on track. No such luck. After 3 weeks of basically not eating or hardly drinking....mind you, I wasn't losing any weight because my body was on store mode. I went to the ER, then was admitted. My doctor said I shouldn't even be here. I should be dead. The first 2 days were all tests to see what was wrong with me. Tests=no eating. All the tests came back good. So my doctor had a pick put into me In half a day, I started feeling better. And was able to start eating a day later. I was in the hospital for a total of 6 days. I am a wife and a mother of 2 beautiful 9 year olds. School had just started. And my hubby had to so it all. And let's just say...it was pretty new to him lol. Moral of the story, when u start not to feel good, get ahold of your doctor. It is their job. Last week I had a check up and I am down 41.5 lbs! The 3 weeks that I was storing fat definitely slowed down my weight loss. But I thank God every day for everything he has done! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using the BariatricPal App

  4. I have been taking a 24 hr allergy pill. Maybe I need a name brand. I haven't really been able to eat anything much. So I don't think it's a food allergy. Thanks so much! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using the BariatricPal App
  5. I have had a really hard time starting 2 weeks out from my surgery. I am 5 weeks out now, and still feel the same way. I have had a mucus problems for a couple years...and just have been dealing with it. Well now that I have had my surgery.... I don't think my smaller stomach can take the mucus drainage into it. 8. Good news! I have been able to drink all day today... not alot...but at least something. My husband bought me Pedialyte and some unflavored Protein powder.... every now and then I have a lil nauseous feeling... then I breath through my nose slowly....and try to think about something else. I also lay on my side and stretch everything out... which helps a whole lot. Tonight I will try oatmeal with my powder mix. Today has been tough... having to leave my house and ride in our truck... but the best day in 2 weeks! I love this app so much! I seriously started getting depressed and totally regretting this surgery! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using the BariatricPal App

  17. I tried what u said. I stayed up wayyyy late (early morning) and I was able to get cold water down with no problem... while laying in an upright position. This has made me feel a little better about my situation. Next is trying to drink during the day....and be able to eat something. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using the BariatricPal App

  23. I am 26 days out from my surgery. I haven't eaten anything in about 6 days....and before that another six days. I have the dry heaves and I throw up. I had to go to the ER last Saturday because I was dehydrated.....and I'm on the verge of it again. I always feel like there is something in my throat. And when I spit...this white throthy spit comes out. I feel like crap everytime I have a little sip of Water. The ER doctor also did a CAT scan, and everything looks good. I don't know if anyone has dealt with any of these symptoms... if so, please help! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using the BariatricPal App
