@@LipstickLady You are a beautiful lady! I love your story as it is similar to mine right now. I haven't had surgery yet, but I am in the gym 3-5 days a week, do kickboxing and love to do hikes. I've been pretty healthy except for back pain. A few weeks ago, my knees started aching. I know the years of obesity are starting to take a toll. I hope to have surgery in January, though I wish it was sooner.
Thanks for sharing your story. You are an inspiration
@@737captain Thanks for the thorough review. I am in the midst of researching doctors and facilities. I really needed the information you gave on your experience.
I'm sure it will work out for you! Having a choice is great so just stay the course. It seems like you have given it a great deal of thought and consideration. If you feel good about your choice, then it is a good decision. Trust your instincts!
Good luck!
Glad you are home and doing better. That drain sounds like a bear I don't have a high pain tolerance so I hope the drugs are good to relieve the discomfort.
I'm sure you will continue to improve and I pray your healing is complete and without much discomfort.
Wow, I am so happy for you! I know you are so excited. I'm just starting the journey, but I hope to join you in January
Those weeks will fly by and your new life will begin.
I am looking forward to a revision too from band to sleeve or bypass...I am leaning towards sleeve, but just want to be successful. The band was not my friend and even though I lost 20lbs and kept it off, I need to lose about 100 more pounds. I was anxious about going to Mexico, but reading these forums has helped me a lot. My insurance won't cover, so I'm paying for his on my own.
