I haven't written for a few .on the due to some issues. I almost died passed on 2 weeks ago due to intestines and absorption issues. I guess when we get gassy we have to be very careful because our intestines can rupture. I thought looking 6-7 pregnant sometimes was normal, just had to pass it. Lol. They are trying to give me banana bags monthly, also an IV cocktail. To help, the first banana bag was ok but I was in so much pain and out I couldn't tell, the second one I wanted to get up and wonder around but since my body was healing I had to sit often. I stayed home for, 4 days trying to care for myself. Then I was admitted for 2.5 days and close to death. So now ER ASAP with pouch and intestines. I was 258, now between 132 -136. I got excepted, I have blood work and AGD on the 13th. Dr. Apel is to the point and the staff is amazing. But we will see what the EGD shows along with blood work. Pray we get everything figured out. Lol, I was on oxycodine for 3-4 years and our sex life was absolutely amazing, I mean we got swing, toys, cuffs, blindfold and more then when I got off the oxycodine and on the patches along with anti depressants it disappeared. I can't even be touched I get irritable. Like you said he does not deserve it, from kinky to nothing not even a feel. thank you so much for the advice and information. i was getting testosterone shots prior because it was low. it just made me angry so tried the cream on inner thighs it didn't make a change. but i have been allowed to go to the gym 15 min. a day and i an praying it helps because before i was very sexual and exoerimental but i am afraid of this change my husband may leave me. I have changed negative, when i was 258 pounds i was out going, active playful. now i am disabled, tired, grouchy and dont want to be touched by my hubby. but i will ask the doctors and pray they help. thank you again.. Have any of you lost their sex drive after surgery? I Have lost my sex drive completely and my surgery was May 20, 2014. I was just put on antidepressants this year due the hormonal changes with the surgery. But what can you do about not wanting to be touched or sleep with the HUBS?? WLS is the general acronym we use for weigh loss surgery. lol.. sorry i was thinking of the DLS i think it is called. dwandle switch i think. I had the roux en y, when they cut 3/4 of your stomach and reroute your small intestines. i heard the DLS is better. But really hope DR. apell will take me into his clinic. i just want to be fixed. i am so sorry i forgot to update, well tgey forgot to call me at 12:30, so i called them later that day and tbey had a lady call me and make an actual appointment with a doctor Apell Next week. I am so much more excited to actually see and speak to someone but it is still like an interview. I am lokking for a new doctor, i have a phone consultatioon on the 19th and pray he excepts me. My normal doctor just has me rest and not push myself to hard. But monday i felt ok just weak and tired. Tuesday something happend i munched all day but for some reason my bloodsugar keeps dropping to 40's cold sweats, can't think, shaking and the feeling of passing out. But today. Weak and tired again. Today is day 3 of recovery and i am doing better, didn't sleep well. For some reason my kegs cramp up in a position to where i can't close them or open them. The Doctor called it night terrors. It is so painful to wake up and you can't move due to being stuck. Happens a lot, but last night was painful. But other than that I am good, I am laying back down for 2 hours so I will be prepared for the kids to come home. And hope not to nap anymore today. ????. It was a bigger sacrifice than expected:: I got to go to Laughlin yesterday, and I sacrificed my health to see my family have fun, it was a lot hotter than expected I only stood in the Water for 10 minutes then back in the shade but the wind was like a blow dryer, it didn't matter how much I sipped I couldn't get enough water. I did good till night fall that is when I started. Wanting to vomit, horrible headache, weak, shook while I walked. I looked like a 90 year old woman. I cried so hard today because everything hurts and is cramping up. It got to bags of IV, but hubby may take me to ER if I don't feel better in a couple hours. I am eating beef egg wonton Soup now. My husband is an LPN but also a combat medic through army so they give him supplies he needs for my IT's. Doctor signed a form to give me the IV when needed since the ER wait takes so long and he has seen me in this condition. I hate it but I getvso tired of not being a part of my families outing. Where is messaging At? My husband was so nice yesterday after my appointment we finished errands and came home so I can nap, woke up at 7pm and my hubby wanted to go out so I dressed up and we went to the movies watched lights out, got an anxiety attack from the movie. Lol. Then we walked around casino inside and out and, it cheered me up. It felt so good to just get out, I told him I want to do this more often. But we where out from 9:30 till a little past midnight. But I slept most of today. But going out it was worth a mini crash. My messenger doesn't work, it says admin has to update..thank you. Tried seeing a psychologist, 2 of them said they can't help me because my depression and other stress related issues has to do with RNY, I have to find a psychologist that is familiar with the RNY issues I am having. They say I am good it isn't a mental that he understands what I was saying. I told my hubby he is so lucky he goes to the gym, plays Basketball 2-3 times a week, gets to go shooting for 5 hours with his family and friends. I can't go, due to the heat, shade and umbrella doesn't work. I still get heat exhaustion and dehydrated. He can take kids to park and I can't unless it is really late. He doesn't understand because he hasn't experienced it, just as I haven't experienced his PTSD from being a combat medic in Afghanistan I can see him struggling sometimes but I can just comfort him. I was getting Vitamin shots then my hormonal doctor moved so I have been waiting. 4 months later they decide to tell me they are taking tricare prime no longer reserve Select. He was one of my best doctors that listened besides my pain management doctor. So went to my primary and they are sending me to OBGYN which I never heard they can give Vitamin and testosterone shots. I went to spring valley hospital. My Gastric doctor scheduled an emergency revision. When I got in there the ulcers weren't heald and the swelling was bad where my intestines and pouch connect. He said I could die, the Sutures wouldn't hold neither would staples. Due to the swollen tissue. And I don't have enough to cut out. So it got canceled. I fired him for allowing it to get so far beyond fixing at that time. I am still needing a revision but I am trying to avoid it, my ulcers are due to acid reflex The Military ER had to figure it out, then my Gastric doctor tried to swoop in and tried to seem like a Hero. He ruined my enjoyment of this RNY. If I get a revision and I get more ulcers or swelling due to irritation from acid they will take my pouch out along with my old stomach and put my small intestines directly to my esophagus. And I am trying to avoid this. I am scared, and tired and stuck in the house. And just continue to get negative news. And all my appointments even with tricare reserves made us broke. I am fighting for my 2 son's against my ex, I have a 7 year old autistic with ADHD, a 17 year old step son I stood by through heart surgery and 2 knee surgeries while my husband was always gone during active duty. I was on the phone when my husbands camp was attacked in Afghanistan and his best friend died. I got this surgery due to almost having a stroke while raising 2 kids fighting for my other 2, my 17 year old 3 surgeries for my son (step son) and my husband almost dying. Now I am taking care of my 17 year old still fighting my ex while caring for my ADHD/Autistic and my Veteran husband with PTSD. I can't be outside more than 30 min. Can't work, can't work out, I can clean an hour at a time then sleep, if I go to the beach or stay in the heat to long black out or sleep for 3 days at a time. I envy those who surgeries was successful. But everything happens for a reason, just waiting to see what my reason is for.. And pray everything eventually work out. .At the doctors office, and found out that blood flow to my intestines is slacking but pouch is worse that is why my belly is always cramping and my entire abdominal area, my disc on the left side on my back is still inflamed so it messes with my sciatic nerve. Still not taking in Vitamins properly, and my Protein, they may have to have a tube inserted if it doest absorb soon. My gums are bleeding due to Vitamin Deficiency. Layed in bed most of the day yesterday then something happened, cold sweats, dizzy spell felt awful. For some reason something triggered me to eat a piece of candy and it went away then fell asleep but don't remember. Haven't slept for 3 days for a whole night just 2 hours here 3 hours there. So I am exhausted. All I can do is cry at the doctors office. But nothing can be done. Emotionally and physically broken down.
