  1. Hi, I have been taking Alive chewables for women, age 50+ since surgery in August, 2016. I keep ordering the wrong ones online - the non-chewables. Of course I don't see my mistake until I actually remove the lid and the inner lining, so I cannot return them. Can I take these or will they make me sick? I can try taking half, but I don't know if I should risk it.
  2. i will call the doctor in the morning for certain!
  3. Thank you! I also think it is orthostatic hypotension from everything I read today. I mostly just stayed put and drank my fluids all day. It goes away after about 30 seconds, but it makes me feel a little off too. I read that adding some salt to my diet could help - so I put a tiny amount on my tongue, which probably makes no difference whatsoever. It is still low, but hopefully tomorrow will be better.
  4. Hi, I am four days out of surgery and that just started happening to me today. My blood pressure is a little low for me - 111/71, so I am pretty sure it has to do with that. I am sitting tight and drinking fluids, hoping it will be better tomorrow. I don't think I should take my blood pressure medication tonight.
  5. So funny - the office accidentally called me instead of another patient. She was about to hang up when she realized I was the wrong person, but she paused and said, oh yeah you are approved. So anticlimactic! But hey, I will take it!!!
  6. Hi, all - my sleeve surgery is tomorrow but we are still awaiting insurance approval. doctor's office keeps saying don't worry about it, but when you have to rearrange your whole life to make sure everyone is taken care of, that is kind of difficult! I am ready and want to get going with this!! Plus, I am a teacher, so my recovery time is the next two weeks before school starts - that's my entire window! Keep your fingers crossed for me and say a prayer that Horizon gets its butt in gear & says YES to my new start to a healthy me!!!
