I was a slim 117 pounds soaking wet when I was younger. But, after 6 children, five of them by c-section I gained way to much weight.I got up to 279 pounds. Last year I had uterine cancer and under went chemo and had a radical hysterectomy and bladder reconstruction. I had yoyo dieted and tried everything to no avail and finally decided on the gastric sleeve. I wasn't suppose to have surgery until September by my gallbladder ruptured and I had to under go emergency surgery so, they went ahead and did the gastric sleeve at the same time. Luckily, I have an extremely supportive family. My husband of almost 22 years and my children have been heaven sent. But, my husband has said since I have supported in the last 22 years of being in the army he can support me in whatever I need.
