How often do you weigh yourself?
I was guilty of weighing myself everyday. My doctors office scale is always way lower than what it tells me at home. I decided to weigh myself every Friday to avoid obsessing and minor weight fluctuations that would have me freaking out!! Sent from my iPhone

Two Year Surgiversary
Thanks for sharing, I agree about the weight maintenance. I have always been able to lose weight, it is keeping it off that is the challenge. I am a band to sleeve revision. I did good w the Lap Band for the first year, then I started having problems with it. I just got revised to the sleeve, and I feel that I made the right choice. I think I will have much better results this time around. Your story gives me hope!!

When Is The Best Time To Buy New Clothes?
I work at a bank so I have to look professional. When I start looking dumpy in my clothes, I will buy a few things here and there. I do have a few smaller items I kept to hopefully get back into. That day will be soon!!

Help I can't eat anything!!
Thanks for all the great tips. I am so glad to hear that things are going to get better. I can only eat about four small bites of food and then I'm so full. This is so much different from the Lap Band. Looking forward to when I can eat a little more.

Acid Reflux
Yes, especially for a lap band to sleeve revision. I had an unfill and left it for 8 months just to have some relief, I'm doing better know since the revision but I now I remember how important it is to take my Prilosec everyday.

You can have tomato soup on liquid stage 2. I was so happy when I could finally have it because I was so sick of chicken broth!!

1st day home from the hospital
Yes it was great to finally be home. Just take it easy. I didn't really get hungry until day 3 of being home. I was in the hospital for 6 days because I had so much inflammation from having the lap band removed. I'm ready for real food but I'm being patient and waiting. I'm on liquid stage 2 and tomato Soup is my new best friend!! Sent from my iPhone

Band to Sleeve Revision
I was having a lot of pain and indigestion from the lap band so I was happy to have it removed. I don't have the pain I was having since they removed the band. I experienced more swelling and inflammation because of the band. Recovery time is taking a little longer than originally expected. I'm on liquid stage 2 and 10 days post op. I don't have much energy but pain is minimal at this point. I don't sleep at night either but that's ok because I'm home all day resting anyway. I'm ready for a real meal but being patient and listening to my body. I feel this was the best decision I could have made. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

Home from surgery 8/23
Yes it is completely normal. I was a band to sleeve revision so I had a lot of extra inflammation making it hard to swallow. I was in the hospital for 5 days because it hurt so much. The doc just had me take it real slow with the liquids. I'm on liquid stage 2 and I'm still having a hard time with cheese and hot Cereal. You just have to be patient because of the extra inflammation. Plus, you had a hernia repaired which takes longer to heal. I'm sure you'll be fine. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
