I understand everything that you're going through. I've struggled with my weight all my life. I'm turning 30 this year and I told myself I need to make a change before I turn 30. So I'm doing it. People don't understand what we go through because they haven't been in our position. My dad doesn't agree with my surgery but he's still somewhat supportive bc he knows it's what I want. He thinks I could just lose it on my own without it but that's easier said than done. I know your struggle and I'm here for you if you need someone to talk to. Fortunately the weight loss community is an excellent support system when you don't have anyone else to turn to.

I think there's a few sleeve support groups on fb already.

I've been mentally preparing for this for about a year and a half now so even though I'm anxious and nervous, I'm not scared. I know this is the tool I need to get to a healthy lifestyle and I know it will change my life forever. For the better. I say go for it and don't look back! You can do this! You got this!
