  1. I am 10 weeks post op. Today actually! TMI- I was straining to have a BM. And I felt a slight "pop" feeling. Freaked me out. I have a tender spot on my "stomach" area if I touch it. Being 10 weeks- I and THINKING it was just an internal dissolvable stitch I may have popped. Hoping it was already on its way out. I feel fine. I'm just having this image of I've ruined everything. My pouch is ripped at some point. Surely 10 weeks it has healed but I know the dissolvable stitches can take months. Any insight??? :))
  2. Thank you guys for the peace of mind!!! Your mind sure goes crazy worrying after surgery
  3. Anyone still have bruising around 5 weeks post op? Pic attached . I have this slight bruising by my main incision. I really didn't even realize it until now and hope it's not new. I'm sure I'm just paranoid ....? I did take Lovenox. But only for a week after surgery
  4. Hello. I am 5 weeks post op. I had been feeling pretty pain free until last night. I started getting pain in my main incision area. My husband and I had intercourse. That's the only different thing I did. Is it normal to be pain free and then it hits you again ?
  5. I know !!! Gross !!! Every time I see it it freaks me out
  6. Don't be silly no need to apologize ? It did look pretty gross lol!!!
  7. Thank you all so much for all your advice and for just being there for me ! ?
  8. I did !!! The doctor said it was not infected. I had some drainage that had created a pocket underneath the incision which was basically preventing it from healing like it should. You could actually feel the pocket of fluid. So weird. He drained some of the fluid. And said to of course watch for any signs of infection. But it should begin to heal and it is i believe. It finally has scabbed over some. I am afraid to get it wet in the shower tho bc the scab might fall off. So I am not sure what to do about that part. It's always something I guess ! I attached the pic of how it looks now.
  9. Thank you for responding ! I am calling them in the AM
  10. Hello. I have attached files. I am 12 days post op and having some issues with my incision. It has been draining some which the doc said was normal. Well now there is like tissue inside of it. And it pops out of the incision. It's not pus, it's attached. Has anyone experienced this ?
  11. Well this is month one so I am hoping for October or November. My husband is all like don't you want to enjoy food on the holidays. No. No I don't. I'm tired of being 30 years old and can hardly walk up the stairs in my house to do laundry Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  12. I just started! I have THREE months of TWO visits per month. I have to see the nutritionist and my PCP each a month. I am on the same boat. Which surgery do I choose? I am leaning more towards to the gold standard, bypass.
