    Hi, I'm having surgery on Dec. 12th and wouldn't mind having an Indiana buddy. I'm a little bummed out because my doctor doesn't want me to travel after surgery, but I already had a flight scheduled for Dec. 24th. I guess I'll tell my mom to go ahead and I'll just hang out here for Christmas. Mindy

    I will also be a weightloss visit number 4 next month. The part I'm dreading the most is the psych evaluation. Sent from my SM-G928V using the BariatricPal App I've done my psych eval, it wasn't bad, be honest and open. It's part of the making sure you will be successful in this journey.

    I understand...just reading about both..I felt St. Vincent was better for me. Which stage are you in? Sent from my SM-G928V using the BariatricPal App I am still doing my supervised weightloss visits. I'll be on visit 4 next month. They are both great hospitals.

    Hi, I live in Marion, IN, and going through the process to have surgery at IU Carmel. I did consults at both IU Carmel and St. Vincents, but felt the IU program was the best fit for me.

I have my reasons, and if anyone want to chat about those we can. More than anything I think its important to do your research and choose a facility that is best for you and your needs.
