  1. I am 5 days post op. I'm tolerating everything and only having to take pain meds at bedtime. The RBI ga that are bothering me the most are the stomach spasms and constipation. I have been using miralax sparingly since I can't have pills. I finally broke down and did a 1/4 dose of a saline laxative. I feel so much better after doing this. I was really worried about ripping something open having to strain so much. Have any of you had this problem? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. I went through the same problem three years ago. I chickened out and opted not to have surgery. Here I am three years later and still no lighter than I was then. If I had had the surgery back then I can only imagine the way I would feel now and the things I would be able to do. Everything happens for a reason but I wish I had not chickened out back then. Pray about your decision and do some more research. Also talking to people who have had it is a huge help. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  3. I'm glad you have the support of your husband. My husband too is very supportive. I like you was immediately thinking the same thoughts. However that's just human nature. My husband agreed because he knows my family history and he doesn't want to loose me any sooner than he has to. I unfortunately am having to do six months of physician supervised diet and exercise before my insurance will approve it. I'm on month three and very discouraged. I find these forums very helpful and they seem to calm my nerves. Knowing that there are others going through what I am going through is very helpful. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  4. I was hoping to use some of the clear soup you can get at the hibachi resurants. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
