  9. Thank you guys so much for your support! It means a lot. A friend of mine is almost four weeks post op and doing great, she said she is a little mad she waited so long to get it done - more energy, wanting to work out and seeing great results already down almost 27lbs Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  10. I have a lower BMI and my surgery is next week - I've battled losing and gaining the last ten years and I feel if I don't get control of this now it will only get worse. I feel like the sleeve is a tool to help me on my journey. I haven't told many people either as I don't need their judgement and their opinions. I don't think you should feel guilty for doing what you truly believe will help you. Good luck to everyone! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  12. I'm Aug 1st too, I'm a little nervous but have had my appendix and gallbladder out and my surgeon said the recovery is about the same - after both of those surgeries I felt a little sore but nothing I couldn't handle. I read some scary stories about recovery so I'm just staying positive about my own. I'm a little worried about staying hydrated but figured I'll sip on Water all day. I'm excited about the new me and feeling healthy and happy again and to have more energy. Any suggestions on a brand of broth that tastes good? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
