  4. Thank you Christinamo7. I was certain that I was going to lose who I am. I'm ready to better my life but not wanting to give up on who I am. I did this once in my life and it took me years to find me again. Knowing that I will have a time of sacrifice from cooking; is ok because I have canned some pretty healthy and delicious soups. My grandsons won't have to worry about grandma being ill all the time either. You really have settled me down a lot.

  6. My doctor was trying to convince me to have a pannectomy but I thought that was putting the cart before the horse. So, I am having my seminar for sleeve surgery the 12th of next month. After making the appointment and doing some reading about the sleeve I got afraid that I would be losing who I am. You see, I love to cook for myself and for others. It gives me great joy in making the food and I enjoy the eating of it (too much so). I don't want to lose who I am after the surgery. Has anyone else fought this fear?
