    I ended up going home after 4 days. I unfortunately got readmitted 12 days after the surgery for dehydration and complications with c diff that i caught while in the first time Sent from my RCT6213W87DK using the BariatricPal App

    The average hospital stay is 2 nights however you are required to drink a certain amount of liquid in an hour and if you can't they will not let you go home.     I just had my gastric bypass on 7/12. The pain was undescribable. My ribs felt like i got in a fight and was kicked with steel toe boots and my entire abdomen hurt. Everytime I breathed in it hurt. I'm 3 days out now and it is much better. I didn't get a lot of pain meds and am currently on plain Tylenol. It is painful but it gets better quicker than you expect. I am still glad I did it and look forward to seeing changes in the near future! Sent from my RCT6213W87DK using the BariatricPal App
