  2. I saw my father go from little to more and more and more in just some months, back when I was a child. Things were never the same again; he never admitted he had a real problem. He never accepted help. We just lost him, forever, and we had to learn to live with that. You have, that is a very good starting point. Best wishes to you friend. 7. Update: 10 days after surgery I started walking 3 miles a day! No issues at all. Just 12 days after surgery, that is yesterday, I was riding my Harley Davidson! Greatest day in a long time! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  11. I had my surgery on July 4th. I've had a day or two when there was no weightloss. It is normal. You lose or gain Water weight quite easily. Be patient. I use an app called "Healthcare" to register my daily weight. It uses a trendline and not your weight point to measure progress. So using that trendline I lose weight every day. It even sets a goal date using your actual data. It has been a stress releiver for me. I've used it before and I can tell you it is a great tool to stay on track without getting discouraged by temporary setbacks. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  13. I am with you! I am a fast healer also. I just posted that I'm confused about drinking liquids easily just 10 days post-op. I also feel great, though some days I do feel a little tired. Glad I saw your post. Me too, like you, my mind was set on things being worse than they actually are. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  15. Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum. Great to be here. I have a question regarding liquid intake. I am 10 days post-op and the first 5 days it was quite hard to get enough liquids throughout the day. But now, I can drink a full can of V8 in about 10 minutes; a full large glass of Water in about 15; and a large glass of Protein shake in about 20 minutes. I thought it would be harder but it doesn't hurt at all, at that rate. Is this normal for more prople just 10 days post-op, or might there be something wrong with my sleeve? I know the doc took off about 80% to 85% of my stomach (saw the pic). Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
