  1. I got the lapband about 3 years ago and although i lost quite a bit of weight unfortunately i was diagnosed w cancer and gained back almost all the weight from being on steroids. After that it all went down hill. After my would have been third surgery due to leaks i decided to try something new so some ppl i know recommended the sleeve. Im a little nervous to do all this again but i do feel like it is the right decision and i am blessed to have the opportunity because i know many dont. Soo...is there ny one out there who switched like i am doing? Was it pretty much the same or totally different? And are you happy w ur choice? Thanks for taking the time to read this Sent from my LGLS990 using the BariatricPal App
  2. I actually got the lap band 3 years ago and although i lost quite a bit of weight i have had to have surgery 3 times due to leaks so i am getting the sleeve in a couple weeks. But i will say the only way i lost weight was by working out 5x a week. Just having the amount of food cut down didnt work for me. Idk if this helped you but good luck and hope whatever u do works out for you! Sent from my LGLS990 using the BariatricPal App
