  1. The best ones I have discovered are the Gas X tablets with Maylox in them. They are the best.
  2. Hi Giselle! Just wondering how you are feeling. After I got over th gas everything has been great. I am going back to work tomorrow. I am so excited. The only real difficulty I have found is cooking for my family and smelling all theat goods food and not being able to eat it. Up until Friday I could not stand to look @ raw meat at all. I really didn't have an appetite until then anyway. I tried to eat, but it didn't work out. How are you though! Keep me posted!
  3. Hello. I know exactly how you feel.. I was just banded on 3/11/2008 @ UT Southwestern by Dr. Daniel Scott, and the worse pain that I had from it was the gas. I was and am so glad that it is over. The problem that I am having now is that I see things that I want to eat that I know my stomach is not going to support. UUUGGGHHHH!
  4. That is so cool. Did you already go to the pre-op nutrition class? i am scheduled for it on Tuesday. When are you starting your diet? What exactly are you going to eat up until surgery day?
  5. I am not from Utah. The Hospital is the Univeristy of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Have you been banded yet? How did it go if you did?
  6. Hello Everyone! I am going to be banded at UT Southwestern University Medical Center on March 11, 2008 by Dr. Scott. I am very excited and very nervous all at the same time. Does anyone have any suggestions on things to buy? Does anyone have any stories about the before and after surgery experience? Thanks guys!
