  1. LOL! I was only using it when I was out at a place where I always have my water with a straw. Just never thought of it til maybe a a couple of weeks ago. Ok, other than that,I follow all other instructions ;^)
  2. Geez! Now I've heard it all... One person poops staples, another "ignored his/her sleeve" immediately post op for years but suddenly it's back, and YOU drank from a straw unknowingly? How?!? Lolz... I'm just poking ya'!
  3. North Brunswick ,here. sleeved 6/14/2016
  4. Make sure you're getting your Water in. That may be a reason for the dizziness. Thanks I was looking for people who were already at this stage or beyond. So this is really helpful. I've been getting better about my water intake so I hope it passes soon. HW 341 lbs 07/19/16 - 298 lbs 08/09/16 DOS - 286 lbs CW 270 lbs
  5. I do not wait when drinking Protein. on a 5 to 6 times a day seating schedule and have no problem getting my 80+ grams of protein. And make sure to make use of an app like My Fitness pal. It really helps to keep track of things.
  6. I am 10 weeks post and have used a straw(not even aware I was using one...) since 2 weeks out. No problems at all.
  7. in third week post and still having trouble getting in all of my liquids, but getting better.
  8. I reached pureed foods yesterday (2 weeks post surgery),so life is good .Down 12 lbs since surgery on 6/14 and a total of 37 since pre op.diet start. I'm doing well. So glad I made this choice. And I'm going to work it for all that it's worth. Looking forward to when I'm let loose in the gym to do all I want, but for now, getting in a lot of cardio. Many many miles. 9. Was on a 14 day straight liquid ( I did Premier protien and Isopure ). I lost 20 lbs. Then there was another 2 weeks after surgery with only liguids. On pureed foods now (3 weeks out) and liquid diet seems like a distant memory. You can do it!! It's a small thing to a conquer. Get through this short period and realize the long term treasures.
