I'm in the same boat as you. Weighing my options. I may call my insurance tomorrow and see if they have suggestions.

Thanks everyone! I do think the time will fly! Christmas will be here before I know it, and then 6 months will be over! My surgery center does have meetings, but it's kinda far, and doesn't fit in well with my schedule. I may still do it, but looking at all my options. They did say WW works, but not sure if that's what I want to do.

So I had my first appointment with my surgeon June 22nd and found out my insurance requires 6 months of continuous effort. But what's frustrating is the 10 weeks of medical weight loss I did a few months ago doesn't count because there was a break in between. The requirments are that it has to be in person, and monitored. Everything I've done on my own doesn't count. It's frustrating, but it is what it is! Anyway, I'm trying to decide which program to do. Weight watchers possibly? But what are other options? If anyone has gone through this, what did you do? Is there anyway around it?
