  2. Hello Melvin. I was out for about two weeks. I think it was enough time because I didn't have any serious pain after the first week. I was tired though so the second week was needed. I wouldn't recommend less than two weeks. I work at a desk job. If your job is more physical, you might want to consider taking longer. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  4. I was often light headed during my pre-op diet. My NUT said it probably low blood pressure or dehydration. I was drinking plenty of Water but I never bothered with broth. Having the broth helped. And someone else mentioned electrolytes. You can get propel water or the powder to add to plain water to get the electrolytes. Good luck!! 5. Hello everyone. If your weight has ever stalled what was the length of your longest stall? I'm about 9 weeks out and this past month I have only lost about 3 pds. I actually gained 3 pds last week or it would have been 6. I'm starting to get discouraged and when that happens I go for what comforts me....food. I don't want to sabotage myself so I'm looking for support from those that have experienced the same thing. Thanks in advance. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  6. Helen, I had surgery on May 20th so I'm in week 8. I've lost about 40 pounds so far and I was concerned that my weight loss was already slowing down. I wasn't expecting to hear 600 calories! I don't know if I can maintain that unless I go back to Protein shakes. Yuck! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  8. Carl, when I had my surgery on 5/20 I weighed 290.2 pds. Once I was home and weighed myself three days later I was 304 pds! That IV is the devil! That Water weight will drop off within a week or to. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  9. Hello all. Today I had a follow up appt. with my surgeon and he said I should be following a 600 cal. no carb diet. Do any of you follow such a strict diet? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
