    Type 2 diabetes

I was in a similar situation, but I'm 5'3" and was 253 lbs. with type 2 diabetes and on 3 diabetic meds. I had RNY on Feb 1 of this year on the advice of my surgeon. He thought I had the best chance of improving my situation with RNY and I'm glad he advised me in this direction. I've lost 75 lbs and my blood sugars fall in the normal range. Good luck to you! Increase in urination

Increased urination is also a symptom of diabetes. Go to a doctor and find out for sure. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

    Completely Undecided.

Rely on your surgeon's opinion...they know which is best for your set of circumstances. I started my journey thinking the sleeve was right for me, but because of high blood pressure, diabetes, and kidney problems caused by pain meds, my surgeon thought bypass was the way to go. Be open-minded enough to consider what your surgeon suggests...he/she is the expert in this situation. Good luck! Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

    Help me!

I use Musclegen Research GENEPRO Molecular Tri Protein Peptide. I put one scoop in 3/4 cup of 2% Braum's milk, along with half a packet of Carnation Breakfast Essentials No Sugar. The Genepro dissolves completely with very little taste and the Carnation Breakfast Essential favors the milk nicely. You get 30 grams of protein with each tablespoon scoop. You can also mix the Genepro with anything...yogurt, oatmeal, milk poured over Cereal, etc. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
