Hi the size of the incision doesn't worry me in the slightest and I normally scar pretty bad but that is all small in the scheme of things I was just wondering what size on average everyone else had as I was expecting it to be about an inch long not about 3.

Yeah my big one is about 3 inches long and I think that's strange. Glad you aren't having to bad a reaction to the glue and you will have a neater scar because of it to

I'm going fine drinking ready?set.go not on mushy foods till Tuesday but could kill for something to eat right now. It seems to only be from about 7pm I get real hungry so not to bad. I am going to ask the surgeon when I see him next why cause he said everything went straight forward and no problems so strange. How are you going with everything?

I'm heaps better today but still doing the till off the bed and chair kinda thing lol and I noticed I have been holding onto the incision site to. My stereo-strips came off today and I was a bit shocked cause the incisions were bigger than I thought and 2 had started pulling apart so I put some more back on for now and will keep an eye on them.

i have just changed the bandaged on my incisions and was very surprised with the sizes. I was told I was going to have 5 small ones and 1 a little bit bigger for the port, when I have looked I have 3 about 1cm 1 about 2cm (which has pulled open a little bit) 1 about 5cm on my left which I thought would be for my port and then when I checked the last one was about 7cm just above and left of the belly button. so my question is that what kind of incisions has everyone else ended up with and it this normal??? Thanks

Thanks I hadn't thought of the thicker soups I don't know why and just had the hubby get some yogurt so crossing fingers something helps thank you

Hi I'm on day 5 post op and every night I get so hungry my stomach hurts, I have tried having my broth later or a Protein shake when this happens but it feels like the liquids are just not doing it anymore. I have 2 days till I can go in my mush food any ideas on what can help me get through the next two days as it makes me constantly think about food. Hi surgery date buddy, did you get the lapband or the sleeve? Know what you mean about the pain isn't to bad but wasn't expecting it to be like this. Helps when you are in your own place and not the hospital. Hope the pain goes quickly for you

No in out of hospital but am able to contact then if I need. The pain I feel is t a bad pain just when the stomach rumbles it hurts s bit, I just didnt know if this was normal or not Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I'm about 36 hours out of surgery and in the last hour my stomach is rumbling and hurts is this normal? Had a very normal operation with no big side effects just a little extra bleeding. Has anyone else had this happen? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Glad I'm not alone with the thoughts, I'm not ally an over thinker and it gets me in trouble. Small sips are fine the gas and indigestion feeling will take a bit to get used to. Still a bit stiff and sore and had a little bit of bleeding problems from sites but all in all better than I thought it would be and only up from here Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Yeah I have a high pain tolerance also it's not to painful just uncomfortable especially when you cough. Liquids are fine no problems at all and plumbing good lol Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
