  3. Hi jersey0601, Your screen name caught my attention. I'm from Jersey too. I am 3 weeks post-op, so I'm on soft foods, but yes i was on liquids only the first 2 weeks. I used Premier Protein shakes (30g protein, 160 cals). My doctor told me not watch calories, but to focus on Fluid intake and protein. I felt like i was malnourished and starving. It gets much better as you start to add new foods.
