  1. I just read in another thread about the same problems with weight loss. It was stressed there that if you are eating too little calories that your body could go into starvation mode and reserve all your calories thus little to no weight loss. 600 calories a day with such vigorous exercise seems like too little to me but I may be wrong. Ask your Dr. of course and dont get discouraged. It will come to you. You seem to be quite dedicated so I know you will experience incredible results. It does however require something I know I dont have much of...and that of course is patience:)
  2. I am so glad that I came across this thread. I am 3 weeks post-op and have lost 8 lbs since surgery and have been really down on myself for not losing more. I am hungry all the time and shamefully have started eating solid foods already. Hoping for my first fill tomorrow. I wanted to reply so that this thread could be "bumped" for anyone else who is in need of some wisdom and compassion. Thanks to everyone who posted here and good luck to all.
  3. I dont know if that is normal or not. I was banded on 2-18 and did not have any severe pains. Although I did take meds pretty regularly and have been getting alot of walking in. The walking has helped move the gas immensely. Hopefully it will help you also. Good luck!
  4. good luck peek. i know everything is going to go well and ill be thinking of you. by the way, i tried a little taste of that smoothie and it was delicious!

I am so nervous tonight....not to mention starving.:cheers2: But coming on here and seeing these replies and realizing that I am not alone has helped tremendously. I am not from Australia and am not quite sure how I wound up on an aussie thread but sure am glad I did! Thank you again and I will post again soon to let everyone know how it went. M, good luck tomorrow I will be praying for you girl!
  8. Striver, That is so neat that were having surgery on the same day. I will be thinking of you and saying a little prayer for your quick recovery. Mrs M, Thank you for your kind words of wisdom. I look forward to being in your position one day and giving some encouragement of my own.
