  1. I just got my first fill today. It almost didn't happen. 8 needles later and about 20 pokes I now have 4cc (had none before). I'm on clear fluids for 24hrs and then full fluids for 24 hours and then mushies for 24 hours. I can literally feel the water trickle through.Very wierd feeling
  2. I had surgery one month after the initial visit. The whole process went really quickly. Everything is going really well. Better than I actually thought it would. I didn't need any of the pain killers even the day of surgery. I took it easy for 3 days and then went stir crazy and went back to work even though I had taken a few weeks off.
  3. I love juice plus and have been on it for years. About a 2 years ago I thought I could cut costs and stopped taking it and within 2 months I felt really crappy. I started it again and felt better. I too was leary about taking the capsules since being banded but I tried 2 weeks ago and haven't had any problems.
  4. I was banded by Dr. Woodhead on April 4, 2008 and am also self pay. I didn't go through a medical financial institution but through my bank. I found the rates were better. I just wanted to say good luck-Dr.Woodhead was awsome and so far I have no doubts that it was worth the money.
  5. I was banded April 9, 2008 and I got back in the saddle last week. So far everything is great. I thought for sure I would have some discomfort but I can do everything I was able to do before with no pains. I always use a mounting block to save my horses back (even when I was skinny).
