  1. No problem! I am not a big lobster or crab fan, but my third week out I ordered steamed lobster; to my surprise it went down smoothly.
  2. Hello there! I am in Maryland and had my surgery in Feb. You are welcome to message me anytime.
  3. Hello. Though I am still a newbie (I had my surgery in Feb), I remember when my first few weeks of having no energy at all. It will pass but to help make sure you are taking B-12 and Iron regularly. As for the meat, chicken is the hardest thing for me to eat (our program doesn't allow for red meat until 6 months.) Yet I have found that shredding chicken helps. Fish was fairly easy for me but if it's a bit dry, it is a no go for my stomach. Have you tried salmon and crab?
  4. Hey there! Although I had surgery in Feb. I wouldn't mind being a sounding board anytime you need one.
  5. I am 15 weeks post-op and if you have any questions, rants or just need someone to listen, let me know.
  6. Hey everyone! As much as I like to read about the different stories about weight loss surgery, I love really meeting those behind those stories. So I decided to create a local meetup group for people who are in the process of getting weightloss surgery and folks who have already gotten the surgery. If any of you are in the Maryland, Virginia or Washington D.C. area check out my meetup group: http://www.meetup.com/Bari-fabulous/. We are having our first meetup late May/Early June!
  7. Hello. I am 15 weeks post-op. I am starting a meetup group for pre-op and post-op folks in the DMV: http://www.meetup.com/Bari-fabulous/
