I am going through my insurance and they referred me to an Institute of Excellence. My location was incorrect. Im actually in CA. I want to get revision because I had complications with the lap band 3 years ago to a point where I couldnt even drink Water. So I had them release everything from the band and I still have restrictions some time. SInce then I have gained 40 lbs. When I had the lap band I was at 250 and went down to 180 and now Im at 222. Its just not working for me anymore.

Hi All, Im new to this forum and site. Im trying to get information on what others went through when they had a revision surgery from Lap-Band to Sleeve. I have an appointment with a doctor this Friday and have called another doctor to schedule a consultation. My main question is whether they made you go through all the requirements again and how long did the process take before you had a surgery date scheduled. In cases where you were denied were you given the reason as to why you were denied. Appreciate the help with this. Thank you.
