MY DAUGHTER SAID I WAS IN MEXICO AND WHEN THEY ASKED WHY I WENT SHE TOLD THEM :-) A BAND PARTY SOUNDS AWESOME!! KEEP ME UPDATED!! Hi, Im in Chandler, right on the border of gilbert, I think once we drive up to Chandler Blvd or Ray rd its Gilbert, you know where Chandler/mesa community college is on pecos? Thats where I am! So, getting together with a group of arizona bandsters is a great idea!

How hard has it been finding a fill doctor in the states???? I have the 10cc swedish band by Johnson and Johnson, and just want to be prepared as to wether or not I will have to fly back to Mexico for fills. Thanks All!!

I am now banded!! Been home since Monday went back to work yesterday. Anyone here go to mexico and get the swedish band and has a fill doctor here in az??? I know its early but just want to start early with knowing what direction Imgoing in when the time comes. Andrea

Ive only been banded since the 26th, and I came on the board searching for help because I too feel like no restriction, and keep telling myself that the doctor did say DONT FOCUS ON RESTRICTION but i still worry about slippage, like why am I able to eat 5-6 oz instead just the 2-3oz he said id be able to, im going to buy some protien drinks now to see if maybe that will help me not feel like im starving all the time!!

Im in the full liquid phase. Im not sure how many ounces it is but do you drink 3 a day and one in one serving? make sence? just sip till gone? Thanks again big help!!

How in the heck do you, or did you, all find a way to reach 60 grams of protien a day. I need help bad!! Everytime I eat anything an hour later I have the worst hunger pangs. the most I have had with protien is the the broth 2 grams!!!!! and thats for a whole serving!!!! Any help is much appreciated!! PS and yes i am drinking my Water so its not being mistaken for dehydration

Just words of encouragment. I was denied last year for a breast reduction, even though, well let me just say they were HUGE hung down to my waist all my adult life, even before kids my shoulders back and head hurt. Well the office called me and said sorry your insurance did not approve your surgery call us in the future if your insurance carrier changes, we can try it again I was DEVESTATED, so I called the insurance right away and asked why was I denied, and the rep. said oh no we didn't deny it the office didn't give us all the information needed. SO i called the office back and she said yes we did , but I will resubmit it, and I said before you do that I coming down with a letter that Id like you to fax with it. 2 days later APPROVED!!! Just call the insurance company and make sure that the Dr. office sent all documentaion, the insurance company said when they send the non approval that the receptionist or whoever receives it, will not read the whole page which differs from company to company. It will work out in your favor they have to give you a reason it was denied. Then you can fix the reason-whatever it might be, it may take time but it will work out if you qualify!!!

I Just have to say how excited i was to find this site with real arizona people!!! You mean Im not the only person in arizona to be having this done haha kidding. My name is Andrea, I live in Chandler, and I am scheduled to have my surgery the day after Thanksgiving and hope that I can come to you guys for support!!! Im being banded by Dr. Arturo Rodriguez in Monterrey anyone else here have Dr. Rod??? Im a closet bandster, only my husband knows!! And the fact that I will be in Tucson with my mother, THE DAY BEFORE I HOP ON A PLANE TO MEXICO!!!! My mother is what I considered one of my best friend and she always just worrys sick about me, I dont want to stress her out, maybe I will end up telling her. ANYWAYS, I just wanted to introduce myself and hope I can get to know some of you a little more as I begin my journey!!
