  1. I'm living in SD currently, but had my surgery done in MT (long story). I got released to go back home after my 1 week appointments. The drive back to SD took a lot out of me yesterday. Sitting in the car for 4.5 hours, didn't drink anything cuz I didn't want to have to stop suddenly in case something didn't like me. Got home and was just so drained after my 12 hour day (woke up at 7 got settled in home at 7. Decided on bed at 7:30.. literally 11 hours later, I feel only a little better. I could probably keep sleeping if I let my eyes close. When they say stay up on your protein, they're not joking. I could barely hold my body up yesterday except for the pain keeping me from slouching over. Tried to stay awake enough to try some tomato soup for the first time, which was a hit, but was just so drained of energy I couldn't finish it. Stay up on your protein people. You literally want to crumble to the ground of you don't.

    Having awful days! Help!

I called the office. Today is his surgery day. So hopefully they'll call me back soon!!!!
  3. Each day, starting from Thursday has just gotten worse and worse. Thursday my stomach decided it didn't like any kind of food and I was stuck back on liquids. Friday I felt a little better I could have food in the morning and had to be on liquids at night otherwise it all just came back up. Saturday I could not keep anything down liquid or food. I finally got home from work and was able to keep chamomile tea down. So Sunday was an entire day of chamomile tea hot or iced, until I got home from work. I then decided I needed to try to get some protein in my system, so I made a small cup of cream of mushroom soup. Probably not my smartest idea but there you go. I immediately started puking II haven't stopped since. My stomach is empty and I keep trying to puke. I tried to take Pepto chewables and those just keep coming up. I am desperate for help on how to make this stop!!!!
  4. I just started my week of full liquids. I am so happy with my decision to do this surgery, even with only 50% family support. I've healed well, walked as much as possible, and am in no pain unless I push my stomach muscles too hard (sitting/ laying to standing without using my arms to help me). I can officially say I'm sick of the liquid diet. Ha ha almost three weeks of just liquids really gets to you. I'm happy I get to start working on things like Protein shakes and cream of wheat! I had my 1 week surgeon check up this morning, he says I'm healing wonderfully and I'm ahead of schedule on my weight loss (23# in 16 days) I feel fantastic! I highly recommend the Isopure drinks! 40g protein and they're so delicious! They're sweet but end with a little tartness as to not overpower your taste buds. The melon one reminds me of a liquid jolly rancher. Sent from my SM-G930V using the BariatricPal App

    1 week post surgery

Haha ya wings would be a bad idea. I stuck with the isopure and Unjury for the two weeks but it got old fast. Now I have the premier drinks and I just try to have protein in anything I eat. I've had trouble with dehydration from going back to work so I've started drinking G2 and it's not as bad as I remember from before surgery.

    1 week post surgery

It definitely takes a while. I'm 3 weeks out now and I can just barely handle refried Beans. Mashed potatoes sir really heavy with me and I'm uncomfortable. Popsicles are heaven though, I'm constantly craving I've cold Water or something cold. Try Fairlife milk. It's delicious, 50%more protein and 30% more Calcium than regular milk.
